Bishop Rawstorne has joined the National College for Teaching and Leadership's School Experience Programme. The School Experience Programme (SEP) gives prospective applicants for initial teacher training (ITT) the opportunity to spend one or more observation days in school to gain an insight into the role and responsibilities of a teacher.
The SEP targets high-quality graduates and undergraduates who are interested in teaching maths, chemistry, physics, languages, computing or design and technology. Eligible enquirers are offered an initial 1 day visit. Depending on eligibility and the availability of the host school, they may be offered additional days to suit the host school and participant.
